Terms of use and sale

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of KueCam, an online teleprompter published by [to be completed] (10 rue de Belfort, 92600 Asnières-sur-Seine, France), and the KueCam Pro subscription.

2. Access

KueCam is free to use, with no sign-up, in a compatible browser (recent Chrome, Edge or Safari). Using the webcam, microphone and speech recognition requires your permission in the browser and, for speech recognition, an Internet connection.

3. Free version

The free version includes every feature. Recorded videos carry a “KueCam” watermark.

4. KueCam Pro subscription

• What you get: Pro removes the watermark from videos recorded while the subscription is active.
• Price: €4.99 per month, or the price shown on the checkout page when you order, which prevails.
• Seller: the subscription is sold by Polar, acting as Merchant of Record. Polar handles the order, payment, VAT, invoices and refunds. Polar's terms of sale apply in addition to these terms.
• Activation: after payment, a license key is sent by email. It is activated in the app (“★ Pro” button). The license is personal and must not be shared publicly.
• Duration and cancellation: the subscription is monthly, with no commitment, and renews automatically. You can cancel at any time from the Polar customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid.
• Withdrawal and refunds: since Polar is the seller, the right of withdrawal and refund requests are handled by Polar, under its terms and applicable law.

5. Your content

The texts you enter and the videos you record remain your property and your responsibility. KueCam does not receive or store them. Remember to download your videos: they are not backed up.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use KueCam lawfully, not to try to bypass the watermark or license checks, and not to disrupt the service.

7. Availability and liability

We do our best to keep KueCam working well, but cannot guarantee permanent availability or error-free operation. It also depends on your browser, your hardware and third-party services (browser speech recognition, hosting, Polar). To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the loss of a video that was not downloaded or for indirect damages.

8. Intellectual property

KueCam, its name, logo, code and content are protected. You are granted a personal right of use only.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The applicable version is the one online at the time of use or order.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. If there is a problem, please contact us first: [to be completed]. Failing an amicable solution, the French courts have jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to you.
